]]> "Routes for adventurous travelers" is a documentary series about six European travelers who cross Western Sahara starting from Morocco and going on through Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo and Benin.
Each chapter focuses on the people, the culture and the lifestyle of the different ethnic groups settled throughout these countries by showing the interaction between them and the six travelers.

The plot thread of the series is led by a Mercedes Unimog truck which has allowed the expedition to carry all the needed material and cope with such a long journey. Prepared to cross deserts and muddy paths, this has been the vehicle which has led the expedition off the beaten path, straight to the heart of Africa.

This series aims to show that there is a more adventurous, direct, intimate and respectful way of traveling. Just by showing respect for the diverse African culture and lifestyle, we will then be able to taste the very essence of Western Africa.
